Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dump Truck Dispatcher to join our team.
As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation and logistics operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to dispatch drivers and ensure timely delivery of trucks and materials.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, the ability to multitask, and an eye for details.
Duties:
- Dispatch dump truck drivers to pick up and deliver material according to customer requests
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure efficient routes and on-time deliveries
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers as needed
- Analyze transportation data to optimize routes and improve efficiency
- Communicate with customers, and internal teams regarding status and delays
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities
Requirements:
- Bilingual, fluent in english and spanish preferred
- Previous experience in dispatching preferred but not required
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of office computer systems, including word, excel and outlook
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
