The ideal candidate:
A take charge person, capable of working in a very busy shop, who possesses the ability to deliver world-class, customer service.
Keeping customers informed of the status of their service work by phone calls and e-mail is the primary responsibility of the Service Specialist.
In addition, the Service Specialist will work to secure warranty claims with multiple companies.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Greet customers as soon as they enter the Service Department.
Establish positive rapport immediately and ongoing.
Communicating directly and efficiently with Customers, Service Technicians and Parts Department Employees.
Schedule service appointments and determine automotive problems and services needed by listening to the customer’s description of issues and performing a vehicle walk-around.
Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
Prepare Repair Orders and work with Technician to describe symptoms and problems.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
Maintain organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership.
Develop and maintain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers with service and warranty needs.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Always maintain a positive, upbeat, professional demeanor.
Excellent Communication skills.
All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
CDK or ADP experience.
Automotive technician experience.
Specific Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
All applicants must meet pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and must possess a valid driver license.
