*JOB SUMMARY*
The Front-Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant has contact with Life Styles clients and their families, staff, Board members and donors and the public at large on a daily basis.
It is critical that the individual filling the position demonstrate a professional and positive manner with all individuals.
*ESSENTIAL* *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – Front Desk Reception*
* Answers all telephone calls and assures that messages are delivered in a timely fashion.
* Greets all visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Responds to visitor and caller needs and requests over the phone and in person in a courteous and professional manner.
* Orders office supplies and coordinates with vendors for office equipment as needed.
* Organizes mail, posting letters and distributing mail as it is received.
* Maintains the monthly calendar.
* Schedules meeting room reservations.
* Receives and documents medication deliveries.
* Distributes taxi coupons and bus passes.
* Records incident reports.
* Updates Face Sheets as required, distributes to appropriate personnel.
* Prepares and distribute mailings, letters, and surveys.
* General administrative and clerical support.
* Maintain copies of brochures and other informational materials.
* Other duties as assigned by the Executive officers.
* Organizes and sets up Board and committee meetings as requested by DD, including catering arrangements.
* Maintains Board and committee binders.
* Maintains data in development gift management system.
* Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS*
· Ability to work effectively with persons with disabilities and be sensitive to their needs
· Six to twelve months office experience preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to communicate positively with co-workers, consumers, families, and visitors
· Must present a professional image through dress and behavior
· Ability to work without close supervision
· Annual CPR/First Aid certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.
00 - $14.
00 per hour
