Customer Care Specialist
* Assist customers in scheduling pick-ups and deliveries of small parcels, pallets, LTL’s, and truck loads.
* Respond to customer emails and/or phone calls to answer questions and ensure quality customer service.
* Generate reports to provide customer information as needed.
* Key in orders received from customers and vendors into a tracking spreadsheet.
* Maintain the company safety culture to ensure DOT compliance and company requirements are met.
* Monitor email, take phone calls and/or text messages from drivers and/or customers.
*Qualifications and Education Requirements*
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 3 years of dispatch experience, preferably in a transportation environment
* Process information with high levels of accuracy
* Effective communication and customer service skills to enable proactive customer relationship building
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Exemplify safe working conditions in compliance with OSHA regulations
* Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8:00 a.
m.
- 5:00 p.
m.

*Preferred Skills*
* *PCS / TMS experience preferred, but not required*
* Accurately analyze situations and reach decisions based on informed judgment
