HealthFitness is looking for an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to join the growing team at our large, corporate client site located in Northwest Arkansas.
In this role, you will support the Front Desk Director with supervising operations while delivering a positive experience and exceptional customer satisfaction for the eligible Walmart population.
This position is an integral part of a busy team covering multiple departmental front desks and the main desk.
Monday-Friday schedule approximately 9AM-6PM with some weekends required.
What You'll Be Doing:
Greet & assist members.
Support the Front Desk Director in managing all front desk customer service activities.
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when the Front Desk Director is not onsite.
Help lead regular departmental staff meetings.
Collaboratively develop, interpret, and enforce facility policies and procedures.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Role Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
1+ year of prior supervisory experience required and the ability to motivate others.
Ideal applicants will also have 1+ year of experience working in the field of fitness, recreation, or wellness.
Strong leadership, team management, interpersonal and customer service skills in-person, socially, on the telephone and via email.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands, meet deadlines, and collaborate with other business units.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
An affinity and passion for fitness, recreation, and wellness.
Current Adult/Infant/Child CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
