Member Experience Specialist Full-time (40 hours per week) member navigation role with benefits & PTO! Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Member Experience Specialist in Bentonville, AR.
In this role, you'll report to the Member Experience Director and will support the presentation and promotion of facilities, programs, and services to the eligible Walmart population.
A primary goal will be to positively impact membership sales growth and the member experience.
You'll work as part of a relationship building team that helps members navigate through programs and service offerings.
Schedule: 5-day week, working 8-hour shifts & must include 1 weekend workday.
Role Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between associates and other departments within the Whole Health facility to ensure we are connecting participants to available programming and services.
Assist with member feedback, concerns, and issue resolution.
Assist with the implementation of membership sales initiatives and campaigns.
Support the coordination of membership sales marketing and communications to maximize member growth.
Participate in periodic special events to promote the facility and program offerings.
Help drive membership growth through outreach and business development efforts including participation in networking/community events.
Actively track & report membership sales and related member experience performance indicators.
Conduct tours of the facility and present program offerings while establishing a relationship to gain an understanding of prospects individual needs and wants.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related discipline OR the equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED & First Aid certifications through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required by first day of work.
Excellent customer service, patience, and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others.
Proven interpersonal and customer service skills in-person, socially, on the telephone and via email.
A passion for helping people live healthier lives and work as part of a team.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools including the ability to navigate electronic onboarding & timecard system.
Hospitality, sales and/or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
Ideal applicants will have 1+ year of experience working in the field of fitness, recreation, and/or wellness.
