As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living activities due to age, illness, or disability.
Our program is designed to provide integrated care for individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the well-being and comfort of clients by offering personal care services, companionship, and promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
_Responsibilities:_
* *Personal Care Assistance:*
* Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
* Provide mobility assistance, including transferring clients in and out of beds or wheelchairs.
* Help with feeding, medication reminders, and other personal care tasks as needed.
* *Companionship*:
* Engage in meaningful conversations and companionship to alleviate feelings of isolation.
* Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
* Foster a supportive and caring relationship with clients to enhance their overall well-being.
* *Household Support:*
* Perform light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
* Ensure a safe and tidy living environment for clients.
* Assist with grocery shopping and other errands.
* *Observation and Reporting:*
* Monitor and observe clients' health and well-being.
* Report any changes in clients' condition or behavior to the office.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
* *Respect for Dignity and Independence:*
* Uphold the dignity, privacy, and independence of clients at all times.
* Encourage and support clients in making choices and decisions regarding their care.
* *Communication:*
* Effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
*Qualifications: *
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred but _not required _
* Completion of a certified Personal Care Aide training program _(WE PROVIDE AT NO COST TO YOU)_
* Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is a plus but is _not required _
* Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others _is a must! _
* Good communication and interpersonal skills _is a requirement.
