Foodservice Digital Customer Experience Intern (Year-Round)

Job Details: SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the Foodservice Digital Customer Experience Team on projects related to managing inflow and outflow of data to ensure product content delivery, selling smart and assisting marketing activities.
This internship will provide the successful candidate with tasks that influence the Tyson Foodservice team and our customers.
This includes working in Excel, data research, working in Salsify applications and working with cross-functional teams to fill content gaps and problem-solving technical issues.
The ideal candidate must be intellectually curious, proactive, a self-starter and self-motivated with a passion to assist Tyson Foods in becoming the global innovative leader of food experiences.
Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for a career path in multiple business disciplines including channel development, marketing, sales, category management/leadership, space planning and insights & analytics in Foodservice and Retail.
It will provide broad networking opportunities and highly visible project involvement.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: Must be pursuing Bachelors or MBA.
Business and technical majors are preferred but will consider other majors.
At least one year of school remaining is required.
Experience: Previous work experience in any field.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort in presenting to various levels of management in the organization.
Special Skills: Desire to learn strong analytical and data manipulation skills, be a problem solver with a high attention to detail and the ability to project plan and prioritize workload.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic who takes initiative and is excited to learn more about Tyson Foods.
Position Specific Requirements: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer.
This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
