Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers; maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of his or her own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.
2.
Answering phone calls and redirecting them to the concerned people effectively.
3.
Receiving postal, courier packages addressed to the employees of the organization and sending them to the addressed person correctly.
4.
Coordinating the communication between employees of different departments.
5.
Scheduling practices for sports as called in.
6.
Recording complaints, problems, queries and providing suitable answers and assistance for the same.
7.
Assist with registrations for sports, pavilions, memberships, rentals, and trash bags.
8.
Checking in members and maintain member database.
9.
Maintain a clean front desk and lobby to provide a pleasant atmosphere for patrons.
10.
Enforcing and interpreting Recreation Center rules to provide a safe, orderly, and family-friendly environment for all patrons.
11.
Responsible for closing out and balancing register.
12.
May be required to work overtime and weekends for special program events.
13.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, or relevant experience.

PUBLIC CONTACT
Daily contact with members of the public.
EMPLOYEE CONTACT
Daily contact with Director of Parks and Recreation.
Weekly contact with City Clerk's Office.
USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Must be proficient in the use of telephones, personal computer, and Microsoft Office.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects.
Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.
