Harrison School District is accepting applications for a K-12 gifted and talented educator position for the 2024-2025 school year.
The position will be a full time (1.
0 FTE) teaching position.
Primary duties will focus on gifted enrichment and gifted educational services.
Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification.
Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
•
create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth

create and deliver specialized instruction following Gifted and Talented standards.
•
establish effective rapport with pupils
•
motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation, in accordance with each pupil's ability
•
provide quality gifted and talented services in inclusive environments
•
formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members
•
develop and maintain required paperwork
•
be experienced in examining, interpreting, and using student assessment data
•
demonstrate effective communication within the school community
•
effectively use learning management systems and digital resources (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc)
•
attain or possess Google Level One Certification
