The School for Advanced Studies is grounded in the following 4 Core Pillars: \*World Liberal Arts \*Beyond Teacher Quality \*Student Scholarship \*Engaged & Authentic Student Culture *Other Duties Include, but are not limited to:* * Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports * Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress * Identifying student needs and cooperating with the other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems * Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEP’s and 504 Plans with fidelity * Substitute/duty coverage as needed * Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day * Occasionally represent the campus at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours *Position Qualifications:* Minimum Qualifications: Eligible to work in Arkansas Public Schools.
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject.
Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through the state department and Department of Public Safety.
Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an educator.
Master’s degree in Education or related subject(s).
*Additional Job Information: * Benefits and Salary: Starting Teacher Salary is $50,000 and is negotiable dependent on education and experience.
