Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, following curriculum daily, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children feel comfortable to explore, learn, and grow
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Assess the progress of each child and provide regular feedback to parents regarding their development
- Encourage the development of important skills such as literacy, math, physical education, and social interaction through engaging activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations and daily activities on our communication app.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with special education techniques and strategies for supporting children with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check, maltreatment check and FBI check.
