JOB SUMMARY This position performs specialized duties in the balancing of Title IV funds and the completion of related reports.
MAJOR DUTIES Freezes enrollment and disburses funds to student accounts.
Gathers and sends out federal funds to the Department of Education.
Researches and resolves issues related to rejected student loans.
Balances federal funds with school accounts.
Assists in the implementation of new BANNER systems.
Runs software processes for incoming files.
Remains informed concerning Department of Education software updates.
Performs related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of Department of Education policies and procedures.
Skill in the operation of computers and job related software programs.
Skill in decision making and problem solving.
Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
Skill in oral and written communication.
COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF WORK The work consists of varied specialized duties.
Strict regulations contribute to the complexity of the position.
The purpose of this position is to provide specialized support for the Title IV reporting process.
Success in this position results in the filing of accurate reports in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Annual salary $34,356.
00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time.
