*Substitute Classroom Teacher (Part Time Position)*
*Position Purpose*
Under the supervision of the School Principal and onsite team, supervises and monitors students in the absence of their regularly-scheduled teacher.
*Essential Functions*
* Ensures a safe and orderly environment for instruction.
* Monitors students at all times for attendance, safety, and learning.
* Implements the plans of the designated classroom professional who is absent.
* Works with office staff, administration, and teammates to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
* Demonstrates patience, positivity, and a love for students and education.
*Additional Duties*
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other office administrators.
*Equipment*
Uses standard office equipment such as computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, and projector.
*Travel Requirements*
Travels to school building is required.
*Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards*
Works in standard office and school building environments.
*Education*
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
*FLSA Status: Exempt*

* 8 hour shift
