This is a custom build from Dean Campbell at Campbell American Guitars.
It features a beautiful claro walnut top and its shape is between his UK-1 and a Gibson ES-335.
There is a chambered portion of the body evidenced by the modern "f-hole.
" The pickups are Lollar Imperials (regular wind) and there is a coil split switch for single coil sounds.
The width is 1 11/16 in at the nut, which is graphite.
The neck is fairly thin, the fretboard is ebony, and the frets are stainless steel which all combine for a fast playing guitar.
The scale length is 25.
5 in.
There is some minor finish checking on the headstock and some very light play wear on the top and back.
The only real cosmetic issue worth noting is a crack (possibly just finish checking) on the piece of wood in the middle of the "f-hole.
" I emailed Dean about this, and he suggested just leaving it as is.
It will very likely cause no real problem in the future.
The vast majority of play time on this guitar has been in a smoke-free home setting.
Comes with a
hard shell case and a strap that matches quite well with the guitar.
