Job Description
The Senior Director, Operations Compliance - BU Support will oversee the Ethics and Compliance strategy for their respective Business Unit (BU).
They will oversee the process of responding to compliance and ethics questions and monitor state and federal laws and regulations for all Walmart Stores in their BU.
The Senior Director, Operations Compliance - BU Support will oversee the operational compliance components in their BU and will help review policies and standard operating procedures with input from leadership while then communicating information to field associates through teaching and training.
The Senior Director, Operations Compliance - BU Support will support operations business units and includes the Digital Innovation Hub in the East Business Unit.
What you'll do:
Monitor compliance and ethics questions for potential gaps and then recommending and developing strategies for identified compliance & ethics gaps
Understand compliance risks and how to mitigate them
Oversee the development of the strategy for new or changing regulatory requirements for the respective business unit
Participate in trade committees and webinars to stay up-to-date on changes to the business
Establish training programs for stakeholders and collaborating with stakeholders to drive implementation of new programs
Benchmark industry best practices and aligning compliance programs with the business strategy
Evaluate and reporting on key performance metrics for compliance programs for area of focus
Communicate corporate positions on various overarching issues and formalizing statements in response to issues and concerns
Analyze costs and forecasts to incorporate them into business plans and resource planning

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
4 years' supervisory experience.
5 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
