Assist supervisor in keeping the production lines running properly.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Place employees on the lines in an efficient manner that ensures uninterrupted operation
Assists employees on the basic GMP requirements, safety rules, job assignments and sanitation procedures and policies
Ensures daily written and electronic paperwork is complete
Performs visual product checks to ensure QA standards
Understands all jobs on the line to be able to fill in when needed
Participates as a member of the Team.
Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.

Attends appropriate team meetings.
As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.
g.
, direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc.
Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforces actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

Physical Activities: Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 pounds depending on the department; standing; bending & twisting of the waist and neck; squatting; climbing stairs & ladders; kneeling; crawling; power grasping; pushing/pulling; reaching above, at and below shoulder level; repetitive motion of shoulders, arms and hands.
Constant walking; grasping; fine manipulation/feeling with hands; use of vision & hearing; talking.
Work inside work around loud machinery/equipment; walking around drains, footbaths, hoses, etc; wet environment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): earplugs, gloves, hairnet/beardnet, water-proof footwear.
Travel: None.
Technical Experience: None.
Industry Experience: Minimum one month related production experience or training.
Minimum Education: Ability to read, write and understand basic English.
Basic math skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain company issued forklift license if working in designated area.
Have the ability to learn on a computer.
Preferred Education: None.
Competencies: Communication skills & decision quality - Must have the ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team.
