Job Details:
The Team Lead Customer Analytics & Strategy position supports the Walmart Customer Development team to improve customer planning, sales execution and financial results on the Walmart team reporting into the VP Walmart.
This role will lead a team to deliver insightful and prescriptive analysis of available resources including but not limited to Retail Link, Nielsen Syndicated data, shopper marketing, industry studies, Apex, and broader consumer research.
Primary responsibilities include developing long-term business strategies to support growth and revenue, identifying opportunities both internally and externally.
Responsibilities include:
Present findings, projections and recommended strategies
Develop processes to collect and analyze information and data to support internal and external performance
Develop processes to identify new solutions, practices and strategies to support long-term business growth
Collaborate and work with managers and executives to ensure strategies are performing
Research and analyze market trends and industry competition
Conduct analysis on current performance and forecasting for future for total Walmart business
Lead and assist in development and reporting of QBR and AOP
Leading development of Joint Growth Planning meetings with Walmart
Deduction/Payment approvals for Walmart businesses
Maintain and improve current reporting for Walmart team
Recommend trade efficiencies to best achieve plan
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 7 years outside sales experience (Food Service, Food Service Manufacturing or Distributor Sales)
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Special Skills: Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, understanding of motivational leadership skills, conflict resolution skills; relationship building
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products
Travel: 10-15%
